圣诞歌曲欣赏：Boney M的歌：《 Mary's boy child 玛丽亚的小男孩》

        我们知道，在西方过去的几百年历中，一直是宗教的斗争史，但是基督.耶稣把大家的信仰统一了起来，古时候，在圣城耶路撒冷，围绕着“约柜”的故事就多如繁星。   
        新约全书的“马太福音”中就有关于圣诞的故事，虽然因不同的译本小有差异，但基本情节是一样的。《MARY’S BOY CHILD 玛丽亚的小男孩》就是根据这样的情节而创作的一首脍炙人口的流行歌曲，这至少说明，原创者充满了对“主”的赞美和热爱，这有点象我国60年代的红歌，由于对毛主席的热爱，创作时就能发掘出最动听的旋律。
    现在正是圣诞节期间，圣诞歌曲对我们中国人来说，听得很少，好象除了《铃儿响叮当》之外就没有别的，而这首歌刚好可以让我们欣赏一下，无论是配器，还是演唱风格都值得肯定，就连唱者那略带“口音”的英文发音，也显得别具一格，比如：您可以仔细听听她们对Bible, stable的发音等等。
      下面简单介绍一下这首《MARY’S BOY CHILD 玛丽亚的小男孩》的演唱组合－－大名鼎鼎的Boney M吧。

     关于BONEY M组合，我们中国人一般不大会记住或知道他们的名字，但如果提起那首：《巴比伦河》，相信大家都耳熟能详。关于BONEY M组合，简介如下，供大家参考：
       Boney M的士高组合，虽然没有在美国获得成功，但在上世纪70年代却在欧洲风靡一时。在德国唱片片制片人Frank Farian (1942出生)完成单曲"Baby Do You Wanna Bump?"的录制之后（该曲在荷兰和比利时取得成功），他开始组建Boney M组合，以力挺该曲，并将当时正在德国从事会话歌手的四位西印度歌唱家招入麾下，他们是：  
    Marcia Barrett (1948年10月14日生于牙买加的对凯瑟琳),  
    Liz Mitchell (1952年7月12日生于牙买加的克拉德隆)   
    Maizie Williams (1951年3月25日生于西印度群岛的蒙赛特拉特)      
    Bobby Farrell (1949年10月6日生于西印度群岛的阿鲁巴岛)         
    1977年2月，他们的一曲"Daddy Cool"登上英国流行音乐排行榜的前10名        
    1977年4月，他们的翻唱Bobby Hebb's 的 "Sunny."进入前10。  
    1977年7月，他们的一曲"Ma Baker"在英国的音乐排行榜名列第2，     
    1977年12月，他们的"Belfast"又进入前10.  
    1978年Boney M. 以 "Rivers of Babylon（巴比伦河）"/"Brown Girl in the Ring," 达到其流行乐的最高峰，成为英国流行音乐排行榜历史上第二最畅销的单曲。"Rivers of Babylon（巴比伦河）"也是Boney M.'s唯一进入美国流行音乐排行榜中前40的曲子。
    Boney M的专集－Nightflight to Venus也名列英国流行排行榜的前面。   
    1978年10月，他们的一曲"Rasputin"成为另一首进入前10的曲子；还有季度前茅的"Mary's Boy Child"/"Oh My Lord,"这一曲成为英国流行音乐历史上第5最畅销单曲。     
    1979年3月，他们的"Painter Man"进入英国榜的前10；           
    1979年5月，"Hooray! Hooray! It's a Holi-Holiday."进前10；
    1979年9月，专集－Oceans of Fantasy排名第一。           
    1994年他们的音乐仍以其汇编组合等形式进入前10，所以其唱片始终在欧洲热卖。Farian后来继续组建了80年代末期轰动一时的舞蹈组合Milli Vanilli.
